The Freestak Team
“Is this EPIC enough?”
We are runners, cyclists and triathletes ourselves and have been working with brands since 2012. From product launches to ambassadors campaigns, we know what brands need and will help you get the best gigs.
A small team based in London UK, we have our own running club, race together and publish a running magazine on the side. As bloggers ourselves, we have been flown to product launches and will help you get those invitations, too. Find out more about the team:
"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." Neale Donald Walsch
Julie is happiest above the tree line and has climbed 6,153m Stok Kangri in Laddakh. She needs 30 miles to warm up. At Freestak, Julie looks after the technology and operations. On the side, she’s also the art director of running magazine Like the Wind.
“The best marketing doesn't feel like marketing”
Alex is a digital marketing project manager and content creator. He is involved in the ideation, execution and management of brand projects. He also recruits for and offers creative oversight of campaigns on the Freestak platform. In his spare time he writes about running and can be found on the roads or on in the mountains.
"Fall down seven times, stand up eight.”
Designer, runner, cyclist, surfer and fan of climbing mountains – Alex has a lot of labels… When he’s not behind the screen of his Mac, Alex likes to explore the rural and wild world outdoors. He can also be found drinking lots of coffee and eating too much cake.
"The older I get, the faster I used to be." Unknown
With favourable winds, Simon can run a 2h37 marathon. He’s responsible for sales and marketing at Freestak and is also the editor of Like the Wind Magazine.
"Is this sufficiently epic?"
Lenka is an ex-basketball player turned ultra runner happily ‘married’ to trail running (although there is no ring to prove it, yet). As a blogger/influencer herself she really knows our Freestak community inside out.
She has a strong passion for all things Digital and Sport related; when she’s not running or chatting to influencers she can be found writing about it on her blog, RUNISTA.
"Go the extra mile, it's never crowded."
Louise is a huge fan of breakfast, dinner and all the food in between. She loves to balance this out with a good half-marathon, especially when it involves exploring somewhere new. At Freestak, Louise can be found working on events, Like the Wind Magazine and helping with agency work.
"You have to skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been."
Product Manager at Freestak, Giorgio is in charge of the Freestak platform and is always thinking about how to help our Influencers and Brands work better together. In his spare time, you can find him volunteering, swimming or talking about blockchain.
Oleg is a Ruby on Rails engineer and a Web Developer for Freestak, and he loves his job. The time he spends outdoors is also very important to him; he enjoys running, competing in races as well as hiking and mountaineering. One of his favourite places to hike is Kazbegi, Georgia.
Sergiy is a software developer and to perfect his craft, has spent time studying at both Cherkasy Polytechnic College and Kyiv National University of Technology and Design. When he’s not studying or programming he loves to play table tennis, cycle, swim and run (though not all at once).
