We are delighted to announce that we’re working with Lowe Alpine on an influencer marketing campaign for the launch of the Aeon backpack range. The campaign is being delivered through the Freestak platform.
Background
Lowe Alpine has 50 years of experience making outdoor gear that inspires people to seek out more adventure in the mountains and is one of the most respected brands in the outdoor sector. So we are delighted to have the chance to work with the brand on the launch of the Aeon range – a new series of lightweight, versatile, technical daypacks. According to Lowe Alpine “Aeon is a go anywhere, do anything pack, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, climbing or trail running. The Aeon will even stand up to the daily commute. Aeon is perfect for a world filled with Infinite Possibilities™”.
The Campaign
With such a versatile product range, the requirement was for a group of influencers and content creators who covered as many of the different uses of the bag as possible – mountaineers, hikers, mountain bikers, trail runners and more. The campaign on Freestak attracted a huge number of applicants, all with great creative credentials and the right size and type of audience for Lowe Alpine.
From the members of the Freestak community who applied to try out the pack, a number were selected and were been sent their choice from the Aeon range. The influencers have been creating content under an embargo and will be posting about their experience of using the packs in the coming weeks.
Comments from Lowe Alpine (and us, of course)
Joe White, Brand and Marketing Coordinator at Lowe Alpine, said:
“Working with Freestak has allowed us to access a huge number of really high quality – and importantly – relevant influencers for the launch of the Aeon pack series. From creating a campaign, to selecting the influencers and now seeing the really high quality content that they are producing, the process has been really effective and efficient. I’m really positive about the impact this campaign will have on the launch of the Aeon range.”
Simon Freeman, Freestak CEO added:
“Delivering campaigns for a brand like Lowe Alpine is really exciting for us. We know that influencer marketing is relatively new, so to find a brand that really understands its potential and wants to get maximise return through a technology solution like Freestak is fantastic. Of course, in the case of the Aeon backpack, the diversity of uses meant that almost every member of the Freestak platform could apply to be part of the campaign, so the client had a great range of content creators to choose from.”
